Does Gillman’s get involved in Tenders and RFQ’s?
Yes , we use platforms such as Contracts advance and Proactis to monitor for appropriate new tenders and frameworks or RFQ’s, We also work with some of our Key manufacturers such as Miele and Electrolux professional to deliver their services, if you do have documentation that you are looking for costs or an expression of interest please contact us.
Do you have examples / case studies of completed works with public sector sites
Yes we have many examples of successfully completed tenders that were delivered on time and within the agreed cost, please contact us should you wish to know more or to arrange a site visit.
Can your company demonstrate a machines environmental impact?
Yes, in the most part we work with manufactures on a partner/distributor basis meaning that we get all the information on a given machine, not just how much water / energy it consumes but where and how it was assembled, what percentage is recyclable, who has independently tested it and what we don’t know thanks to a support team from each manufacturer we can very quickly find out.
If we needed someone to visit a location of ours, to help compile a tender would you help us?
This is something we do anyway as we appreciate public sector companies need to follow best practice and depending on the amount go out to market and tender, where we can help is making sure the document is as accurate as possible.
If we purchased machines from you what are the timescales for and service and repair works?
Our typical response time is same day / next day which is what we aim for and generally achieve, however better than that our first time fix rate is very high as our engineers are trained by the manufacturers and they carry many parts on the service vans, further supported by additional parts stored at both our Gloucester and Exeter branches.
